High Tea SACE Stage 2 Food and Hospitality students have been studying Socio-cultural Influences. This required the students to develop collaboration and problems solving skills to prepare and serve a contemporary ‘High Tea’ to guests. The Stage 2 Class was enthusiastic about the opportunity of preparing and serving a ‘High Tea’ even though they knew very little about the social and cultural influence of an old tradition. All of the students effectively participated in the decision making, preparing and serving the food and beverages to 15 guests. The feedback from the guests was outstanding and credit was made to the students for all of their hard work.
